Turkey Meatball Parm Subs

  • Pre-cooked Turkey Meatballs

    Adjust rack to middle position and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and dry produce.

    Peel and mince or grate garlic . Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add half the garlic and the rest for later; cook, stirring, until fragrant ⏱️ 30 seconds . Stir in tomato paste and half of the italian seasoning (all for 4 servings); cook, stirring, until combined. Add Pre-cooked Turkey Meatballs , sugar , salt , black pepper , and 1/2 cup water. Cook, stirring, until the sauce is slightly thickened and meatballs are warmed through, ⏱️ 2 minutes . Stir in butter and turn off heat.

    In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and the remaining garlic; season with salt and pepper. Microwave until the butter softens ⏱️ 10 seconds . Slice demi-baguette lengthwise, stopping before you get through; spread the cut sides with garlic butter. Place cut sides up on a baking sheet. Toast until lightly browned ⏱️ 2 minutes . Fill the meatballs and sauce in the toasted baguettes, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese . Return to the oven until cheese melts ⏱️ 2 minutes .

    Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, toss mixed greens with italian dressing until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
